The highlights so far… -LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION -Great customer service. Every staff member from the front desk to the local store and pool/beach are exceptional! -Rooms are nice. Ours has a vaulted ceiling, great A/C too. -You have access to Casa Marina (a two minute walk) that has a family pool(basketball pool hoop). You can charge food to your room at this pool also. - Yard games are fun- kids loved the giant chess boards. When the goal is romance, reconnection, and rest, The Reach delivers with quiet luxury and coastal ease. My husband and I slipped away to this Curio Collection property to celebrate our anniversary, and what we found was nothing short of enchanting. Tucked gently at the edge of Old Town Key West, The Reach is one of the only properties in the area with a true private beach. The resort is clean and appears to have been updated. The customer service was terrible. It took me 3 hours and two trips to the front desk to get a microwave I requested. The hotel manager had to bring it to me after all my requests. The beach is full of seaweed and birds that are popping everywhere. The valet was the best thing about the trip. You will need a car as it’s not near anything really. I can’t say I would ever stay here again. The price I paid and the customer service I received didn’t match.
This is the air filter in the room that I stayed in at this hotel in July 2025. Um… that is disgusting. It looks like it hasn’t been changed in 50 years. I also informed the front desk that my room had no shower gel. They said housekeeping would bring some. They didn’t. The next day I called and asked for it again. This hotel and the surrounding area also smells like raw sewage. I’m not kidding. They say it’s the seaweed, but seaweed is a very different smell from raw sewage and you can tell the difference.
