This hotel was horrible and not worth the money spent ($800 per night in January?!). It’s supposedly a five star hotel but nothing about this hotel is 5 stars. The bathroom had tiles missing, the carpet was gross, sound traveled all through the night (including with carts running through the lobby) - so much so that we needed to turn on the white noise app on our phones in order to sleep. Location is great if you want to have a beach and away from the hustle and bustle which is what we wanted. The service was sometimes great and other times not so great. Most of the people were very friendly and helpful. The beach serving service was excellent. The beach cleanliness was needing attention. I suggest they use their chair and towel staff to routinely pickup trash and assist the drink staff with picking up trash. Add some trash cans near the beach. Guest rooms are a decent size and our appropriately cleaned. I will say the bathrooms are slightly disappointing, the shower pressure, especially. I don’t particularly like having to reach around a glass shower door that turns inward into the shower, to turn the water on. It’s a definite flaw in design ans water pours onto the floor everywhere. My family and I stayed at the Reach for 4 nights (12/29/24-1/02/05) at $1,100/night. It was the worst experience. Poor service. Unkept room. Rude employees. There were zero beach/pool chairs available as all were occupied, however there were several chairs (8) stacked by a tree, which the attendant said, "are broken." Our room overlooked a dumpster, had 2 broken shutters, a chipped wastebasket, a broken body wash dispenser, slime around the toilet, and a broken shower head.
