I believe at one time The pop shop was a great place. I think they must've changed management and cook staff. This is reflective in the food and the way it is run. At one point it was good, now. Not so much.
Today was my first time at The Pop Shop and I loved it. It was very easy to get vegan food here and it all tasted great. The people were nice, which is always a plus.
The staff was extremely rude, especially the blonde hostess. We got there 1 hour before they closed and were just going to order ice cream. We were still waiting for 2 members of our party and the hostess refused to seat us without them being there. I could maybe understand this if they were even slightly busy, but there were FIVE booths open and over TEN tables open. Plenty of room. Best burgers in South Jersey. I suggest the panther pride. It's awesome.
Our first time! While we were waiting, we overheard staff discussing wait staff shortage but they were just communicating to let customers know there may be slower service. We were politely informed & were seated. Our waitress, Danielle was there in few minutes & also communicated may be delay. She was very polite & attentive & overall it was smooth. We did not feel any delay. We enjoyed our lunch, although overwhelmed with choices on menu since first timers lol We will definitely be back! Thank you Danielle!!
My wife and I have been here 3 times since we’ve moved to Collingswood and I have no clue how this place is still open. The ice cream counter is dirty, the decor has no rhyme or reason and the service is abysmal. Every time we’ve gone here, it has been for ice cream (which is the only good thing about this place) and it takes us roughly 45 minutes to get served/pay.
