There back in 2010 & wasn't disappointed. 5 stars all the way
First time at the Pit tonight, excellent. The potato fritters on the starter menu are a MUST, I could have had those for my whole meal. Had the double combo of brisket and fried chicken with slaw and mac and cheese. Fried chicken was hands down some of the best I've had, juicy and tastey. Sides were excellent too. Brisket was a little on the dry and over done side, however the sauce was good. I would definitely go back and give the brisket a try on another night. Want to try the pulled pork next time. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. The Carrot cake with bourbon ice cream was amazing and the bill was affordable. Would definitely come again when I'm in the area.
