Newly Renovated Conveniently Located M Street Towers has newly renovated units - modern appliances, hardwood floors, marble countertops. You don't hear a lot of noise from your neighbors. Management is friendly and responsive. There is an after-hours security guard everyday of the week who has access to the management office to retrieve your packages after the office has closed. The building is about 4 blocks from the Mt. Vernon/Convention Center Metro Station. It's within walking distance to restaurants and shops on 14th St... read more
Park Georgetown Apartments The apartment building is old, however it has been maintained pretty well. The management team is very helpful and attentive. In my span of over 2 years of living at PGT, I have never had any issues. There was a ceiling leak due to excessive rain, and the maintenance was at my door step 15 minutes after I made the complaint and the issue was resolved very professionally. The management team at PGT tries to work with you for every possible situation and scenario that may arise. I have stayed in two ... read more
Great starter apartment in the middle of everything. I'm so happy I found the M Street Towers. Mount Vernon seemed like kind of a dead neighborhood at first- I picked it because it was close to my work - but there's all kinds of good coffee shops/breakfast spots hidden away close by, in alleys and basements and in the bottom of apartment buildings. Also, I find I can walk to nearly everything in Shaw, Columbia Heights, Logan/Dupont, U-Street area - and also, a bunch of cool bars and restaurants are opening nearby on 7th, nea... read more
The Taylor I love living at the Taylor! Tucked away in the cutest little neighborhood hiding in Rosslyn, the building is medium sized. Walking distance to Georgetown, running/biking trails (custis, gw, and capital crescent/c & o), a hiking trail just out back, and easy metro access in Rosslyn or Courthouse. Though the apartment lacks amenities like a gym or pool, it is full of charm and expert management. I have never waited for service or assistance, and they are prompt to correct problems and inform tenants of changes. The... read more
M Street Towers - Proceed with Caution M Street Towers is an average apartment building, with very limited amenities. Pros - Great Location in NW, Walkable to Chinatown, McPherson Square Metro, 14 Street bars/restaurants, Mt. Vernon Square Metro. Laundry Unit inside of Building, Granite Countertops, Stainless Steel Appliances, water pressure from the shower is great. Cons - Near 2 Low Incoming Housing Units so you don't feel too safe at times. Live on the bottom floor so hear noises outside . We had a Mouse loose in the apar... read more
small but perfect My junior 1-bedroom is very small but the layout is perfect. The on-site staff are all friendly and helpful, and they host fun events for residents every month or two. Amenities are great too--free coffee and tea in the lobby, gym, business center with printer, and rooftop. I love living here!
Location is great! I love my junior one bedroom apartment, it is a great space for one person. Many of the apartments in the building have been renovated and are even more nice then my older unit. Utilities (electric, water, trash, gas, etc.) are all included. Tenants can choose RCN or Comcast for internet/cable, but pay for that on their own. The location is great. If the rent wasn't quite so high, I would stay here for a long time.
Tiny but efficient I LOVE the Harper. The location is incredible - you are walkable to everything. The design is classic but updated. The pricing is incredibly fair. (High, yes, but this is DC and utilities - not cable or internet- are included). When you factor that in and add the location it can't be beat. The management company is pleasant and responsive. They seem to do a lot of preventive work and are always checking windows and air filters. Residents are friendly, though not overly social. Everyone gets along fine and ... read more
The Drake Fancy-pants apartments in the heart of Dupont. Everything is beautiful and brand new. If it had a pool and lower rent, it would be a dream.
