I took my bike here one time for a simple fix. just needed a new chain installed. I ride a bmx bike. they are simple machines, mine doesnt even have brakes. the mechanic here, however, struggled to even get my wheel off, let alone couldn't get it reinstalled. I finally had to take the tools and do it myself, which I have done and could do anytime. they claimed the frame was damaged. just a little bit of rash on a single dropout from a peg and it certainly didnt keep me from installing a new chain and riding my bike... they c... read more

Lied about the service they provided
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. This shop used to be so much better than it is now. We purchased new bikes here for our kids in 2015 and always had really great service here. One of the reasons we purchased the bikes here was because we were told we would always get free labor here if we purchase the parts here. We went in to have a small tire repaired. While it was being taken care of, Isaac was schooling my husband on the cruiser bikes. Then I join in and next thing you know we are being fitted for new bikes. Then it snowballs into helmets, locks, bottle holders, lights, etc. Really appreciated their expertise while dealing with their recent move across the street and these trying times. I’ve bought 3 bikes here in the last 10 years, and each experience has been better than the previous. There have been some management changes in the last couple years to keep the business viable, but what hasn’t changed is their effort to get everyone on the right bike for them. They never try to upsell their customers and always happily offer test rides, advice, and anything else one could ask for. Bike repair is much improved too, especially with the new service manager.
