The place for breakfast in Austin – Every time I'm in Austin I have to stop here and have breakfast. The whole attitude says laid back. I like the sour cream omellette, but they have a veggie with avocado that is fabulous. Their home fries are just right and they always have fresh fruit in season. The pancakes are good too. So is the coffeee. Don't miss the clever quotes about breakfast and coffee on their menu. Sitting here in Dallas I am missing those eggs just thinking about it.
100% Austin feel – Omelettry is a nice variation for breakfast or brunch fanatics. The cholestrol free eggs are great for those who are watching what they are eating. The portion size and the cost make the Omelettry a place I will be sure to eat at again. For coffee lovers, they offer various coffee pot sizes. Their special blend was smooth and rich. Great atmosphere and food!
Strange Food, Surly Service – Strangest Omelette I have ever nibbled on. Cold with the egg just laying on top of the ingredients. Just plain odd. They should change their name to "The Oddelette." The waitress was in a horrible mood too, surly and mean.
Good Breakfast – I enjoyed my breakfast at The Omelettry. The gingerbread pancakes were great and the group enjoyed the variety of options of omletes and fresh fruit. There was a long waiting list but it moved quickly. The wait staff were nice and around to fill up your coffee mugs.
Ohh my!! – Omelettry has the best pancakes that I've ever eatten in my life!! They put Kirby Lane to shame!! I've never had such great service and friendly at that. It may be a hole in the wall place, but it's the best breakfast that I've ever eatten in my life!!
bring cash. $1.50 atm charge. – The food is the feature at this restaurant. Try the picante. I understand they make it fresh every day. But what to put it on!? The food tastes good as it comes! Salads also excellent.
