RecommendedWhat a fun spot on the Plaza! The weekend brunch was fantastic. The Johnny Cakes Benedict was literally one of the best things I have ever tasted! Pancakes, crab cakes, and a poached egg with a delicious hollandaise sauce. We kept obsessing over each bite the entire meal. The $5 brunch cocktails were awesome and well priced. The whimsical and modern decor and ambiance was so fun and cozy. I only wish I actually lived in KC so I could make the Oliver my "spot"!
Bailey (sp), our server, was outstanding! Her guidance as far as drinks, starts, and entrees came as both an adherence to our intuitions and a compliment to the menu. Well done! *also...finish your meal with their Clover Club classic.

We enjoyed our impromptu lunch at the Oliver. We had excellent craft cocktails, I had the Pineapple Martini, which was a wonderful balance of tart and sweet. I also tried the house bottled Pretty in Pink which was wonderful. My husband is a dedicated gin man and loved the Dear Mrs. Beauregard which had Uncle Val’s gin, one of his favorites, orange bitters and and an elderflower tonic.
