Pretty slow service for a weekday lunch. Leek fondue was tasty but French dip sandwich had a horseradish sauce on it that wasn’t good. Instead of making a new sandwich they offered to bring me more bread. I passed (sauce was everywhere) and went home hungry. So for $50 including a soda, it most definitely wasn’t worth it.

Love The Oliver’s food and atmosphere, but service and management often seem indifferent. Last two experiences (Thanksgiving and a birthday), the food and drink were great, but overall experiences poor. Might wait for staff to cycle before going again.
The apps are incredible but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

This was my first time at The Oliver. The setting is relaxing and quiet, with a yummy brunch list! Definitely different than what I’m used, but the food is good and drinks are too! Try the Pineapple Martini and The Bennie !
I was highly impressed by the vast offerings of their wine and beer. The atmosphere was great, nice relaxing lighting, great food and very nice staff, always attentive and very helpful!

Brunch at The Oliver was an incredible experience in so many ways. The fun decor and feel is a fantastic first impression when you walk through the door. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful. My daughter and I both got the Johnny Cake Benedict... .oh my goodness! The Oliver will definitely be on top of my list when I'm in Kansas City!
