Located off the lobby of the Seelbach, this bar offers over forty bourbons, expertly mixed cocktails, and heavenly desserts like the Warm Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie. The Seelbach is known for its artfully restored, early 1900s decor, and this elegant watering hole was not passed over. The bar itself is a fine piece of mahogany, and it's as inviting a bar as ever there was. The bar is staffed by a crew not only expert at drink mixing, but also at spinning yarns about the hotel, the neighborhood, and the great state of Kentuc... read more

Louisville's once grand flagship hotel, the Seelbach, has faded in prominence. I stayed as a guest, and attended a conference within the hotel. we started out by approaching the hotel northbound on 4th st. The hotel valet refused to acknowledge me because I was curbside across the street. I got out of my vehicle, and approached him in front of the hoteHe explained he could not take the vehicle as it was across the street. A frank discussion ensued, and he eventually accepted the vehicle. He offered no belhop service or assis... read more
Great hotel! Loved the hotel tour with Larry. We definately will stay again. All of the staff were so helpful. Shout out to the valet!! You did a great job for us.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay. Beautiful hotel full of historic charm. The staff was excellent, our room was big and very clean.
After stopping at 2 different places to have a drink after the Cyndi Lauper concert Sunday night (both of which places treated us terribly rudely), we came to the bar at the hotel. I wish I would have gotten the name of the young woman who served us. She was so very nice to us. I actually told her how awesome she had been with our service! We felt so very welcome there! The service with a smile and quickness was so refreshing after the rudeness we had experience earlier. Plus the decor and ambience was just fantastic! I look... read more
Beautiful historic place to stay. However the walls were so thin that it woke me up early in the morning when people were chatting while walking down the hall (unless it was ghosts). Plus our bathroom sink constantly dripped. No complimentary breakfast as you find in most Hilton hotels.
Larry Johnson and Patrick Rhodes were fabulous!!! They gave us so much information about the hotel! I will definitely try to stay at the Seelbach every time I’m in Louisville!!!
A very, very great experience....recommend to anyone. And thank you Anthony Rhodes.... John Hicks and Janelle McDonald
