From the moment we stepped on the curb we were greeted with friendly and helpful staff. Check in was easy and the hotel was beautiful. Very well maintained, beautifully decorated and American history everywhere. The rooms were comfortable, try not to still in pillows… Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room in less than 15 minutes. A beautiful hotel with a top-notch staff. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!
What’s to say? It’s a classic. Ok room. I got a queen size bed. The room was totally fine. Outside noise, total quiet. Yes if something was going on in the hall, you could hear it, but in general, the clientele in this hotel would be civil and quiet, noise was never a problem for me. I’m quite happy I experienced this hotel. I never tried the food, so I have no comment for that. Location for downtown was perfect, if i had to mention a negative, I can’t think of one. Nope, the more I think, nothing.
Unless you go for the history I wouldn’t recommend. The shuttle did not pick me up from the airport. 6 different people tried to call the hotel and got a busy signal. The rooms are very small! No mini fridge or microwave. The room service was not good. No view at all. Would not stay again.
The new management really cares about your experience at this wonderful historical place to land after a long day.
