Located off the lobby of the Seelbach, this bar offers over forty bourbons, expertly mixed cocktails, and heavenly desserts like the Warm Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie. The Seelbach is known for its artfully restored, early 1900s decor, and this elegant watering hole was not passed over. The bar itself is a fine piece of mahogany, and it's as inviting a bar as ever there was. The bar is staffed by a crew not only expert at drink mixing, but also at spinning yarns about the hotel, the neighborhood, and the great state of Kentuc... read more

Went to an Al Capone fundraiser for Huntington’s Disease in the Rathskeller Saturday evening. What a gorgeous room, so perfect for our event!
Very nice hotel, ghosts and all.
Excellent customer service! Beautiful location with elegant charm!!
Rooms are small the beds were supposed to be queen size air doesn't work good, parking sucks and nothing but homeless beggars everywhere for the money you pay here you get nothing for your buck. I will never stay here again.
Fantastic hotel full of history. Exceptional service. Wonderful rooms. The Seelbach Bar is top notch. Will absolutely recommend and stay here again the next time I’m in Louisville!
Best burger we’ve shared in a while, accompanied by amiable and warm wait staff! Exceptional bourbon list!
Great Hotel, Very kind and nice people. Love the places to have fun. Clean, Elegant and a lot of history to enjoy!
Felt like royalty. The Crew here is all about customer service and the hotel is elegant and rich in history. Be sure to take the free midnight ghost tour and really get the behind the scenes stories. Or you can buy the book written about its history. We were lucky enough to get it signed by the author who still hosts in the concierge lounge. This is the PERFECT hotel to go to for a special event. Be sure to check out the ballroom in the cellar too. Just a gem any way you look at it.
