I waited over an hour for my food just to be told they didn't have what I ordered, also waitress never offered any refills on beverages.
Environment, service, food, coffee, flawlessly flipping into a great bar in the late afternoon, then being open 24 hours for food!!! How are there any complaints about this place? They've even got a subwoofer for the background music!
It's hit or miss. Tonight we have waited over an hour for food. The server came back once during that time. I had to walk up to get a refill of my beverage. Some days this place is great. But most often this is the experience. Food is always good. Just make sure you have plenty of time to sit here.
I wanted to like this place, but I've given it 3 chances. Let down every time. The food has not been good at all. First time I asked for no onions on a omelette. They gave me one with onions then when they brought it back out I could tell they just picked the onions out. Smh. This last time food was cold and just not good. The Waiter's are some what friendly to who they choose to be. Most try their best.
Fun atmosphers. Great service. Great breakfast menu and food. We will definetly be back.
Very pleasant experience at the Nicollet Diner. 8AM Happy Hour Bloody Mary special was a bonus. Very friendly staff, clean facility and great food. The Corned Beef Hash was awesome. If you like culinary adventures, you need to stop in when visiting Minneapolis.
