Mezze appetizer was full of variety and flavor, cocktails were exquisite, thoroughly enjoyed the flank steak and the vegetable plate, the black cherry cake with pistachio ice cream was yummy but not the standout, and they make a great cappuccino! Overall, we were extremely happy with our decision to eat here!
RecommendedWonderful staff, great wine, yummy food, friendly vibe. I especially love their Brussels sprouts, delicious bread and olive oil, soups, and flatbreads. The power lunch is a winner every time.
We tried The National today after reading rave reviews, and nothing but good things. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked into the door the staff was not welcoming at all. Our waitress actually gave us an attitude when asking “if there was anything on the menu we might like”, as if this wasn’t the kind of food we would eat. RecommendedWouldn’t give me a star rating options but definitely 5 Stars Always my favorite place to go and bring out of state visitors. The vegetable plate is the best in town. Stuffed dates and pizettes are also a favorite. Cocktails are always amazing and unique. Today I tried the special cocktail for the month “the butterfly and the bee” it wasn’t just pretty but really delightful. I even had a little bee visitor 😂😍
