Current resident for almost two years, but reluctantly starting to look at new places due to terrible property management... Simply put, these units are not even close to worth their cost of rent, and management is definitely going to try to surge prices again to make up for post-COVID losses they continue to fail to recoup as the list of vacant units grows. The cycle will continue until Dreyfuss (the corporate parent company) either gets a clue, or gives up and sells the property to another firm. Other tenant reviews (datin... read more

I've been a resident at The Metropolitan since 2019, and I can honestly say it's been a wonderful place to call home. The grounds are always well-maintained, the community is peaceful, and whenever I’ve had an issue in my apartment, I know I can count on Emmauel to fix the problem! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and skilled; there doesn’t seem to be anything he can’t fix! Beyond that, he's just a kind, dependable person, and this building is truly lucky to have him! don’t move here!!! , they randomly turned off the water and said it will be on at 6 pm but it never got on. We went to the office to see what’s the problem they all already packed up and left for the day while the water still is off. 2) it’s no vents in the bathroom so when u turn on the hot water and shower it starts to mold on the ceiling 3) nobody opens the door for the mail or delivery people so packages will be stolen!!! 4) one person in the office is disrespectful 5) the fire alarm goes off many times throughout the da... read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I generally enjoyed living there, but when I moved out, they stole a large proportion of my security deposit to fix damage that I didn't cause, even though I documented the damage when I moved in. They were also unresponsive when I tried to rectify the situation. I'm disappointed, because I felt I had a good relationship with the staff, and it hurts to be treated this way after living and being a good tenant in this building for 2 years.
