The Marine Mammal Center is a nonprofit veterinary research hospital and educational center dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of ill and injured marine mammals - primarily elephant seals, harbor seals, and California sea lions. Very nice facility. The work they do for injured or starving animals is fantastic. We did the self tour but in the end adopted a seal and felt great knowing that we donated to a worthy cause.
