Volunteered at The MMC for a year. Brought Jacob one night to help out he then brought his younger brother. We had fun. Learning and caring. More volunteers are needed.
Fun to do the behind the scenes tour, the place does great work thanks to so many dedicated volunteers. Don’t expect to spend the whole day though, maybe 2 hours if you do behind the scenes and then just watch the animals for a while.
amazing nonprofit marine mammal hospital! the tour docents are very knowledgeable and all the rescue teams are volunteer!
Volunteered for the first time this evening. Amazing group of dedicated volunteers! The center is extremely organized and cleaned. Fun hard working time! 🙂
An impactful, incredible, and interactive experience. Knowledgeable and friendly volunteers add to the extensive exhibits. Optional classes and guides deepen the impact of the viewing opportunity. Both heart wrenching and heart warming. Highly recommended.

Their facility is built in an old Nike ... read more
