The Marine Mammal Center is a nonprofit veterinary research hospital and educational center dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of ill and injured marine mammals - primarily elephant seals, harbor seals, and California sea lions. I was so impressed with the Marine Mammal Center and enjoyed my visit. Excellent information, great volunteers (Mary in particular), and I got to observe some of the animals that are currently staying there until they can be released back into the ocean.
