The Mansion itself is truly in a league of its own. The service was spot on. Our server, BARBARA, was excellent. Even when my side vegetable came out cold, she immediately got a substitute that was cooked correctly. Overall The food - well its served in big plates. My dover sole was good but not the best, however, my husband ordered the wagyu beef and that was excellent. The best thing I really had was the cheese board. I have spent a number of nights in the mansion though I live in Dallas, but more often I come to a private party event. The Mansion just makes you feel that much more special, and it always has.
You will want for absolutely nothing.....gorgeous building & atmosphere, I wanted to take the 2 person “freight elevator” upstairs this time to the restroom because Teddy Roosevelt used it years ago!
The placed was filled with kids that appeared to be too young to drink, that had no manners and appeared to be headed to any number of mistakes before the sun came up on Sunday. Expectations and reality were way off. There are better places to go in Dallas.
