The menu from the caponata, to the duck is flavorful, fresh and delicious! Love the twists that delight each plate and our party thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Lot. Thank you RJ and staff. Always a pleasure.

One of the best meals I've had in Charleston since moving here 2 years ago. Fresh, deliciously prepared ingredients combined to make a scrumptious dinner. Loved the atmosphere-not pretentious at all. The Lot truly allows the food to shine. Also loved the knowledge and description of the menu by our server!

visited from out of town twice in the last couple of weeks. my friends and i travel all over the country seeing music and eating delicious food. the lot is consistently some of the best meals i have ever had. that's not what I am here to write about though. i am writing this review because ALICE is the best server i have ever had in my dining career. she is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about the menu. she is patient and attentive to our needs. she makes an already satisfactory experience outstanding and memorable. ... read more
This was one of the worst dining experiences ever in Charleston. We made a reservation for four at 7:00 at an outside table, arrived on time. It took at least five minutes for a hostess to notice we were standing at the door, how big is this place? When she decided to seat us it was inside and we pointed out we had requested outside. The outside table was the only one partially exposed to the elements with a threat of rain so we went inside, terrible location next to the bar and service station. Google states open at 10. Showed up at ten to be turned away stating they don't open until 11pm. Come back at 11:15 to be told unless we had a reservation that we couldn't eat until after 2pm. Not very hard for them to have told us the first time we showed up. Poor customer service.
We throughly enjoyed our experience at The Lot. Excellent service and great Farm to Table food. We are going back tomorrow for brunch!
