I ordered a $30 "pork chop". It wasn't a pork chop. It looked more like a pork loin, which I thought was great. Then I noticed that this 10" long, 1.5" diameter loin was at least 3/4 fat. Wouldn't have been a big deal, I understand that you can't see exactly what's going on inside, BUT it was cut into medallions. Now, I've had pork belly. I eat a lot of steaks. I understand marbling. Love this place! Great atmosphere, food and service. One of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Charleston!
OK, so I've eaten a lot of burgers at all the hot burger spots in NYC, MIA and LAX, and the burger at Lot is up there with any of them. My suggestion is order it rare, it's perfect. And the french fries are pretty darn good too.
Excellent food that changes with the growing season. Everything fresh and some of the items are so different and delicious. They have a great brunch.

One of the best meals I've had in Charleston, and I've had quite a few. Had the grouper collar and the porkchop, two words ....... absolutely phenomenal
Beautiful old part of Mount Pleasant. The restaurant is located in an old home. Atmosphere & food is perfect!!!! I highly recommend you go and enjoy being treated very nicely as well as delicious food!!!
