Located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, this restaurant resides in a saloon-style building loaded with Western ambiance. Horse saddles hang from the walls and a large wooden bar stretches across the dining room. A tin ceiling adds to the rustically authentic charm. Chef and owner Tim Love is a native Texan, which is obvious in his most-requested specialty, roasted garlic-stuffed beef tenderloin. Other menu items emulate Italian, Spanish, Mexican and Asian fare, including the buffalo rib eye and quail quesadillas.

our son, Kevin Winkleblack and family, gifted us with a surprise 50th anniversary party at the Lonesome Dove in April, great food, great service with our awesome family and friends, a fun night was had by all!
Incredible food and service to match. Joe was an excellent server. We will be going back.
Fantastic food, adventurous menu, fun atmosphere and great staff. Don't come eat here if you want boring food! From their Rattlesnake Rabbit Sausage to the signature chili chocolate cake ... Flavors abound! Even their token veggie entree is bursting with flavors, textures and creativity! Beautiful plating and realistic portions, this will be my Go To place when visiting Fort Worth in the future!!
