About this business

Located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, this restaurant resides in a saloon-style building loaded with Western ambiance. Horse saddles hang from the walls and a large wooden bar stretches across the dining room. A tin ceiling adds to the rustically authentic charm. Chef and owner Tim Love is a native Texan, which is obvious in his most-requested specialty, roasted garlic-stuffed beef tenderloin. Other menu items emulate Italian, Spanish, Mexican and Asian fare, including the buffalo rib eye and quail quesadillas.

Had a great time and the service was nothing short of perfection and the food was better than that!

We were very disappointed. Went there for an anniversary and I had to talk my husband into going downtown from N. Richland Hills. His steak was good I think, and the asparagus was good. His salad was so-so, my rainbow trout was tasteless, as was the macaroni and cheese. The latter is supposed to be a signature dish, but no cheese taste there at all. Tim Love is trying too hard to be different, and I guess the prices are based on his name. $141 and we didn't even have alcohol. Absolutely ridiculous. Nice atmosphere, however.

Business response:

Sorry to hear your experience was anything less than perfect. Please send any additional thoughts to info@cheftimlove.com along with your contact information, as we would like to hear anything else you have to share regarding your meal. Our customers deserve the best and I again apologize that you didn't have the experience you were expecting.

Excellent service excellent food as always. I've been going to the dove for 7 years, and it's still my favorite restaurant. I normally eat at the bar unless it's a special occasion, and I'm never disappointed
