Our waiter, Bradford, said the duck was a specialty. There are no words for the perfection of taste that came from every bite. Thank you Bradford and thank you Torrey Pines for a fabulous memory.
Horrible, dismissive and humiliating staff, high prices, and tiny dishes-- and the food, which once truly great is now just ... very average. If you want to pay $140 for brunch and get coffee with a side of humiliation and a condescending attitude from staff and a maitre d that are so bad ... well, they have to be high-- go to Torrey Pines Lodge signature restaurant, A.R. Valentien.. otherwise .. spend your money and time at a restaurant that actually wants to your business.

A family favorite nestled in La Jolla, CA. The Lodge at Torrey Pines offers impeccable quality and tranquility in a major urban setting. This fact, combined with its amenities make it a favored location when we find ourselves in the San Diego area. AR Valentien still delivers a creative menu from "farm to table" after all these years.
Every time we come here it’s so peaceful and cozy, the level of service is what makes this place special. Down to earth, chillaxin great hideaway. Consistent service with one of the top breakfasts I’ve had!
Torrey Pines is AMAZING! Everything from the craftsman design, the delicious and beautifully presented food, and the staff. I would give 10 stars if I could.
