The name says it all. This bar and kitchen is a favorite with the locals in Coral Gables and throughout the rest of Miami. The bar features 24 different beers on tap, and the kitchen is equally impressive. The menu takes its inspiration from traditional bar foods, only classed up a notch or two, like their Brie "Mozzarella Sticks", Steak and Egg made with petit filet and tempura egg, or their bacon beignets for dessert. The Local was even voted to have the best bar food in Miami in 2012 by the Miami New Times.

The food was unique and the service amazing! This will definitely be one of "go to" restaurants!! The ricotta & bread Yum! The shrimp & grits outstanding!!

I used to love this place, but thanks to the unprofessional woman who served us, I will never go back! If you eat here and are being served by a woman with short hair, get a new server or run. She is the absolute worst waitress I've ever encountered. Crappy attitude, judgmental, ignorant, and the exact opposite of hospitable.
