Tiny room. All hallway noises are very loud in the room. Lousy view (see photo comment). Construction on scaffolding at my window all day. No coffee maker. No fridge. No microwave. No premium movie channels. Great front desk staff. Very attentive housekeeping.

Love our room, it's clean and smart, not huge but big enough for three of us. Beds are very comfy. Love the decor and ambience of the whole place! Lobby has cool jazz playing and it's a delight to sit and have coffee and people watch! Will definitely recommend to any friends planning a trip and would most definitely stay here again - it's perfectly situated in midtown to access anywhere in Manhatten!
I LOVE old historic Hotels. It's amazing to think we were walking the same hallways that famous people like Marilyn Monroe, Joe Dimaggio and Ella Fitzgerald walked. We were in a suite on the same floor where they once lived in this magnificent building. I loved all of the beautiful modern art murals on the walls and in the elevators.
I brought my fiancé here for a surprise trip and the staff was very friendly. We had a problem with our room and they immediately changed us and gave us complimentary breakfast and drinks. The hotel is very nice and clean. Would definitely come back and stay
