I stay at The Lexington a few times a year, it’s a great hotel!
I was noticed 30 minutes before check-out by a phone call that they would charge me $250 for “smoking” in the room. After a 3 days stay it is rather unlikely to have been smoking and only beeing noticed before check-out. Nobody came into the room to check or state I’ve smoked and they refused to go up in the room to check with me. The amount was taken of my bank account against my approuval, I didn’t sign any document to authorize this hotel to credit me.
We stayed here for 4 nights in mid December. Gorgeous hotel, we stayed on the 27th floor and the view was incredible. The location is amazing. A few blocks from grand central terminal, rockerfeller, and fifth avenue. Walking distance to just about everywhere! Can’t wait to come back �
Great stay at The Lexington Hotel in NYC. And Ramona was very helpful as was actually all the staff I encountered.
Nice lobby and reception Clean floors SMALL rooms with even smaller bathrooms and filthy window frames, if you need to open them you’ll need a wash after! Rude bellboys that are lazy and ignorant and too used to earning good tips from the mugs like you n me Wonderful reception staff but like I say the rooms are way too small, $100 for two cocktails 🙀🙀🙀 I stayed at the le meridian Parker last xmas for the same rate and the room was three times the size of this and the bellboys were fantastic ! I won’t be back!
