I strongly suggest anyone looking for a lawyer find another one. Don't use him. He charged me a flat fee got paid and after that didn't care. He's a SCAM. *He actually didn't show up for court. He told me to ask for a continuance over the phone and the judge refused. So I had a hearing with no representation after I paid him. What kind of lawyer doesn't show up for court? *The G-A-L was sending him emails and he wouldn't respond to her. This 'so called attorney' is a scam artist. He is not a divorce attorney even though he purports to be one. He scammed me out of $1000 and did absolutely nothing for me. I will pursue a full refund with my last breath. I am posting this to give anyone who is doing business with him a heads up. Be aware!
Though I have not personally used the services of Sid Hughes, my sister employed him over the course of 9 months while she was divorcing her husband. Clearly experience, Sid Hughes navigated the murky waters of my sisters relationship with her abusive husband with grace and agility. I could tell that he felt personally responsible for helping my sister and her two daughters escape to safety. I'd highly suggest his services to anyone.
