The grilled cheese suffered from ambition fatigue. A smear too far in the direction of upscale, with all the right ingredients but none of the restraint. It ended up a soggy, over-assembled mess that whispered, “I went to culinary school,” when all we wanted was a confident melt. Great addition to Ada! Looking forward to a glass on the patio this summer.
Absolutely amazing atmosphere! When you walk into the Lark, it’s more than friends. It feels like family. Highly recommend the cheeseburger fried rice by the way…. Also shout out to Marge for recommending the outstanding cheesecake!
