When parking in the Lansburgh, my vehicle sustained significant damage due to extensive construction in the garage that the Lansburgh was carrying out where cars were parked. I have submitted a damage claim in writing, followed up with multiple phone calls, and still--since summer--have yet to receive a response. Staff told me of approximately 20 other vehicle damage claims and showed me the claims. My vehicle door is smashed in, and must be completely replaced. Beware of parking in this garage. Horrible construction noise that Lansburgh will not disclose and when complain they pretend they know nothing. Violated DC renter code by failing to notify short term renters of outrageous noise level. Lansburgh construction consisting of jackhammering and major garage construction noise will go on until January 2025. I moved out after first day due to extreme noise that came through vents and would shake the building starting at 8 am. Stayed at the furnished corporate apartment for 3 months. The location cannot be beat while the facilities can use an update. Overall very happy with the experience.
The current staff sucks. There is regularly no one at the front desk when there is supposed to, and if you happen to be lucky and find someone there (after multiple tries) they are on personal calls. The main office staff is rude. The building is old, mismatched, and efforts to fix generally is just blocking off that area from use indefinitely. No actually renovations taking place, just tearing stuff up and leaving it. Also constant mouse and cockroach problem.
