This is a beautiful place, but the wine selling/restaurant business has replaced the warm and welcome atmosphere that used to be a big attraction at the Bed and Breakfast. Just not the same.. Too bad!!
Went there yesterday for lunch with 2 friends. Lunch was fabulous and the wine was great, but after we ate, we were rushed away saying there was a 2 hour limit on tables because there was a long list of people are waiting. It was 2:30 on a Thursday afternoon and there was one group waiting. We were very disappointed as we wanted to relax and enjoy more wine and conversation. We make memories everyday of our lives! Now this is coming from someone that has stayed at the lake house years ago and just returned from our stay for my husbands birthday! The staff at the B&B and the Crosswinds Restaurant go above and beyond making everyone's stay Amazing!!! There is by far no better location on the strip! Thank you for being who you are and what you stand for! The time, planning and expense you put into your grounds is top notch!!! And thank you for that " Little Slice of Heaven!"
Very unimpressed in fact, disappointed with the Lake house Inn and Spa. We wanted to have lunch on their deck, a party of 9 to celebrate some birthdays. We were told they would not accommodate a party of that size. We said we can split-up, they said they would STILL NOT accommodate us because they already knew we were a "big" party. How pathetic is that???? They can also say goodbye to the large amount of money I spend for Spa gifts each year. I felt I had to at least give a 2-star because of the beautiful lake view from the hostess desk, that's as far as we made it. We would have loved to try the food but we were turned away because of our party size of 9. We then offered to split up our group into smaller parties and we're still told "no". We ended up finding a wonderful place on the lake in Fairport Harbor that was more than happy to accommodate us and will gladly spend our money there from now on.
This place was absolutely wonderful! Especially the staff! They all made us feel special and very welcome.
