Went for breakfast. Person taking order was very unfriendly. Got my coffee in a paper cup. Expected more from a fine dining establishment

I have visited The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck twice, and both times I got the same vibe- "Am I in an airport?" The menu is all over the place (Thai, American, Chinese, Greek) and not in a "fusion" way. The space is large and the service is just ok. Once again, this is another restaurant that refuses to season their food. My last meal was smoked salmon Benedict with potatoes. Excellent food. The four persons in my party enjoyed what we ordered. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad and a side of onion rings. Different friends who ate at the restaurant earlier in the week recommended both to me.
Asked for outside seating at 8:40 pm tonight and seated immediately. 9:00 pm no one came to our table so my daughter went to inquire when we could get service. The hostess said our server would come soon. One of the servers then loudly said “they probably seated themselves”. 9:05 someone brought water. 9:10 still no server after 30 minutes so we left. On the way out I told hostess why we were leaving and she said “have a good evening”. You can reach your own conclusions......

We had one of the best nights here last night! Our server Christian was great, he was there when we needed him, but he didn't hover over us at all. He was also very helpful with any questions we asked. Being that it was prom last night and there were a ton of people in there, our food came out hot and delicious and we didn't feel like we were in a room full of people. All in all we had a great night, we will be back for sure.
Wonderful selection, preparation and service. Top notch, looking forward to returning.
My chinois chicken salad was fresh with rotting lettuce. Gross! This salad would be so delicious IF the lettuce wasn’t brown and slimey. Having fresh lettuce for salads is a prerequisite for a high end dining establishment like The Kitchen.

Delicious food but wish there was a great vegan entree. Very challenging for a vegan.
