I've dealt with the Kirklin Clinic staff & physicians for an Aortic Aneurysm repair and removal of a Carotid Body tumor. Everyone I dealt with was amazingly skilled and professional.
You will wait weeks or months for an appointment, even if you are a patient. Their go-to phrase is, " If you have an issue, go to the emergency room in your city." Really? That's the reason I came to UAB because the Healthcare is so poor in my hometown. It's totally ridiculous!
