We walked in on Labor Day! They were open and took their time giving us the best beautifying treatment. We both left very satisfied and were treated with excellent customer service. I am West Indian-American. My hair is kinky curly black hair. I wear it natural. My mother's hair is straighter than mine, wavy curly. My mother got a wash and set and I got my hair washed, conditioned with treatment, blown straight, flat-ironed and styled...all for an extremely low price... It was a real blessing! This was a fantastic place!! I just moved to Dobbs Ferry and needed to find a place to get my hair done. My mother and I went together and were both quite enchanted with the whole experience! Rosa was amazing. She turned my Afro into flowing locks. She's a miracle worker!! The salon was neat and clean. Everyone was warm and friendly. Most of the ladies spoke Spanish but did not mind translating. I felt welcome and am very satisfies with my hair. it feels soft and healthy. I will come back here every time I visit New York.
I've been searching in Westchester and finally found a salon that does ethnic hair superbly (I'm African American female). Not only are the prices reasonable, but I get an appointment to be seen almost immediately as opposed to the salons I use to go to in the Bronx (always had to wait, and always had a rush job). I had my hair relaxed and also cellophaned and never had a problem, so it's false to believe that this place is only good for blow drys. Prices are reasonable; place is clean and quaint.
