My last surgery in 2020 I stayed at Joyful Recovery House. DO NOT STAY THERE! It was a horrible experience. They picked me up after my surgery 2 hours late. When I got there my roommate had to get me something to drink because you have to stay hydrated. No one literally checks up on you, you have to go find someone & even then you might not find anyone. This was my second time staying at joyful recovery home. The first time last year was satisfactory for me so I decided to stay again this time and bring my 2 friends to recover for our bbls . The owner joy was the there to collect the money at the beginning of the week from all 8/9 girls then never showed her face again it was said she went out of town, and left her team of only 1 nurse to care for all 9 girls . Do not stay here!!! Very unprofessional and Bad communication!!
I would not stay here! First of all, I paid my $200 deposit in March and hadn’t heard back from them until my surgery in May. When I arrived in Miami (from Detroit), they had not answered there phone after calling for 6 hours straight. I found the address on google and pulled up. The owner was not there and the lady that took my money did not even know I was coming. I had my own ride to surgery and the recovery house was suppose to pick me up.
