RecommendedThe awesome stylists at The James in Ada donated their time and effort to dye my hair for charity. And in a situation where I see a lot of people give the bare minimum, The James went out of their way to make sure I had a 5 star experience. While I might not be dyeing my hair neon pink again anytime soon, I recommend The James to anyone who wants amazing service and a pampered experience! 😊
I HIGHLY recommend Chris at the Ada location! I have very curly hair that is very hard to tame/style and Chris knew exactly what to do. It’s a dangerous game cutting your hair short with curly hair but I am beyond happy with the results. Amazing atmosphere as well.
I love the James Salon! I have had the best experience with Allison. When a have an appointment I know my cut and color is going to be spot on. Highly recommend her.
Relocating from Manhattan to Grand Rapids gave pause on several scenes, hair being the biggest who, what, where......Then I met James.... Shortly after I met Todd, then Jaime and Allison ( it takes a village ladies!!). Cuts, color, color repair, cute tops and Botox I have probably tried it all, all around the world and these cuties are the best. Always professional and fun, kind and willing. I had the most amazing experience at The James Salon with Kara Cole Turner. She listened to my likes and dislikes and gave me the most incredible cut to re-energize my spirits and my look! I booked my next visit before I left, and am already excited to go back and change up the color.
Love this place. It has a fabulous vibe and all the special little touched makes a girl feel pampered and beautiful. The clothes, shoes and jewelry are amazing and reasonably priced. Love all the staff and especially my stylist Kara Cole!
