About this business

This celebrity hangout has been visited by beautiful people for years and shows no signs of slowing down. If you don't have a reservation or a studio deal, however, don't even try it. The decor is simple and focuses your attention on the crowd and the menu, which are both out of this world. The crab cakes are a favorite, and the fried chicken is also excellent. If you can afford it, The Ivy is a great place to hobnob with the movers and shakers. If not, you can always order a drink at the bar. Be sure to make a reservation.

Our group had a great time, thanks largely to the outstanding service and terrific drinks (thanks James!). Food, on the other hand, was a mixed bag. Spaghetti was great. Fish and chips was disappointing - shrimp still had sand and a chlorine taste (also, where's the fish??). Dessert was also excellent.

We drove in from the Desert and we were greeted with the offer of a glass of champagne and given a lovely table on the patio. The food was divine....especially loved the cookies we were given on our way out. I've wanted to get there for a long time and wasn't disappointed. Pricey but worth it.

It is such a happy place. I have been there twice. Food is outstanding, service impeccable and so atmospheric. My husband and I just celebrated our 46th Ann. There. We had the best time!

We had lunch at the Ivy on Saturday October 8th and to my dismay when I had checked my bank statements today I discovered that I had been charged twice the second time slightly higher amount of the original $280 bill I paid. When I took up the issue with their account department they denied it happening. I have now send them the proof of both transactions am hoping for a swift refund of the money stolen from my card. In any case the experience of dealing with this kind of problem in such a 'prestigious' restaurant is disgust... read more

Always delightful! First time I ever had the ribs, delicious & fell off the bone. The onion rings were the tables favorite.
