I lived in Houston for many years before moving to Lake Travis near Austin for the Hill Country, lakes and slower pace of life. However, we come back to stay at The Houstonian over and over - rare for us as regular travelers. The wooded grounds make it seem like you aren't in the city. Yet all the Houston only non-chain restaurants like The revolving Spindletop and The Rainbow Lodge are short drives. My girlfriends and I had a spa day this weekend. The service by the waitstaff was great. My massage was great, Kathy was very attentive and had an amazing personality. The spa was very full this past Saturday. The waiting area before having your massage was packed, loud, and there was not enough places for everyone to sit. The pool and hot tub area was also very crowded. I have to say that my friends and I had a great time, but the ambiance could really use some work.
The Trellis Spa is one of the best Spas in the country! Their customer service is beyond amazing! I want to thank Jorge for being an awesome massage therapist and for making sure to apply the right amount of pressure! And I want to also send a huge hug to Daniella, she always makes me feel at home! Please continue to keep up the amazing work that keeps me coming back for more!!!!
