Came here at the beginning of a long weekend for a place to stay - wonderful staff who provided great recommendations and great food and a nice relaxed vibe. Not at all what I might have originally expected ! Enjoy a nice meal here - I’ll take more photos next time 😊
We booked the hotel room through booking.com for a Saturday night. Unbeknownst to us booking.com changed the night to middle of the week. This meant we had to book another room for the Saturday night when we were going to be visiting Bendigo, ie we had to pay twice for a room! Tracey and Connor definitely looked after us because of this booking.com "SCAM". They upgraded us to the Princess room and gave us a discount. It was all about "The Experience". We loved the historic feel of the place. Great location.Ornate charming querky. Large rooms, & very friendly helpful staff. Good meals. We just soaked it all in & thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
Stopped for lunch on a cold windy day, loved the Seniors menu and food was fantastic. Guinness hit the spot
