Terrible service...had them come out to measure for carpet...went to pay for carpet and was told they did not measure inside the closets...then had to go back out...now have been told 3 different prices for carpet...the final price I have in writing and now have been charged on my credit card more than the quote...when I checked out the sales person said I guess I can help you...I will probably never get to go to dinner...really I am spending thousands and that's the response...still no response to the overcharge on my credi... read more
I purchased approx $600 in paint from Home Depot because of a rebate deal they had going. I received a $120 prepaid credit card that I have not been able to use anywhere, even Home Depot! I logged into the rebate website which has no information on how to activate, called the number on the card to activate but after the prompts it never says it's actually activated, went to Home Depot and NO ONE had any information other than to use the website or call the number!!! It can be hit or miss depending on the employees. Sometimes well stocked sometimes not. Sometimes people are helpful, sometimes they're absent or talking to each other off in a corner. But the location keeps me coming back.
after finding the boards that I wanted I had to wait about 30 minutes to get someone to cut the boards for me. That is not acceptable. Also there were about 4 other people waiting too. I was told that the person cutting boards was helping another customer. This was during the day and I think they were just under staffed. Will think twice before I go there again.

I'm a sales trainer. I use Home Depot as an example of terrible customer service all the time. And this place lives up to the reputation. No one can help with what you need. They page multiple times and can't get help. A 2 minute trip turns into a 30 minute trip. I knew I should have went to Lowes.
We tried to purchase a rain barrel today. The only ones in the Garden Area were stored on the third rack up. We spoke to three associates who couldn't decide how to retrieve their inventory so we could make a purchase. We shop at this store due to the location, but probably won't going forward. You lost a sale and long time customers.
If I could give 0 stars I would! Waited on hold for over 45 min still no answer! Just an automated system that continues to tell me how "important" my call is to them. While still on hold I drive to the store only to see multiple employees standing around. Not just in one department but multiple departments.. including the Customer service.. looks like Lowe's will get my business. I am need of a full kitchen remodel. Get your shit together home Depot
