TERRIBLE customer service. I've never felt more unwelcomed as a female business owning customer in a store than I have today.
So let's say I've spent $11,329.37 with Home Depot and I am one of the several thousand customers they get any given day. I don't think it would hurt to hire a cashier to check customers out. I don't mind the self-service stuff some of these things are hard to check out with for example the lighter items that do not scan proper or how about a load of 2x4's. Come on guys what happened to the Home Depot i used to love with live cashiers and great customer service.
The guy in the appliance dept kept bugging us as we were trying to decide what we wanted. I was irrated that we had to buy a new washer in the first place but he kept asking me what I wanted! When we finally decided on one he acted like it was as bother to him to ring it up. Did not get the 10% veterans discount as he said what we bought did not qualify! How convenient!! And now we have to be at their beck and call for delivery.
HELP!!! IT HAS BEEN 6 WEEKS AND STILL NO DECISION ON REPALCEMENT OF OUR CLOTHES WASHER. I am dealing with Home Depot Warranty on a GE washing machine. The local service company, Best Electronics, they have contracted to service my area has requested that the unit be replaced, it is non repairable. Guys in Lumber Dept did excellant job cutting about 30 pieces to size. Saved me a lot of time toward project. Also gave me some free wood and the pieces that had knots took 70% off. Home and garden Manager was awesome. After explaning how much we were spending and renting one of their trucks...took 35% off a patio set, thought why rent his truck and go some place else...smart. I calculated the cost of everything I would need for my project before I left...bottom line Home Depot saved me 40% in money and at least 80% of time.... read more
So much for customer service, terrible, terrible service. Went to this Home Depot to buy the rest of my wood flooring, got my first batch from another location, brought my receipt, my actually printed Home Depot receipt, Home Depot logo and all, not only did they not honor the price, they refused to. Store manager kept saying they, they, they, why would I honor there price, told him sir, it's not there or they, its Home Depot's price.
