Probably One of the worst home depots I have ever been too. All the employees were clueless. 3:30 p.m. and not a single person in the store is working in the lumber department or can operate a forklift to take something down. No manager to be found when asked to see one to get some help. Oh and they had no carts available because all of them were inside piled up with stuff. Recommendedthe "expert" on tile may not have known how to properly calculate tile area that we needed and we may have to order more. otherwise, he was able to order a special order tile and get us the military discount. overall I would recommend.
Went to the Waldorf Home Depot yesterday. Upon entering, I didn't see any cart wipes, hand sanitizer or disinfectant spray to use on my shopping cart so I asked a store clerk for some and she said they were out of it. Left and went over to Lowe's and they had all of those for customers to use upon entering their store. Lowe's also had a shelf near the entrance with all of those products in stock for customers to purchase. Maybe Home Depot should go over to Lowe's and buy some so that their customers can clean their shopping ... read more
Why did I receive the online merchandise I cancelled today. It was cancelled on 6/10/20. Being a good person I go to the store to return the products at the Waldorf MD store #2563 location and the rude representative told me I need to take it back to my home because there is nothing they can do with cancelled merchandise. She also told me I need to call the online department because it is separate from the store. The worst order online and "have it delivered to your home" experience EVER!!!! Save your $80+ delivery fee and shop somewhere else!!! We had placed our online order and all of our purchased items were listed as IN STOCK. We paid in full and for the home delivery. They sent an email saying that our delivery was coming on a Monday between 6:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. and that there needed to be an adult present. Bought a storm door today and two young men were very helpful in making sure that it was secure for my hour drive home. It took them some time but they did a great job and I made it home safely. Unfortunately one of them left their scanners in my car and I did not find it until I got home. 😔
There are so many ads on TV and radio right now about free delivery. On what? Nothing that I want has free delivery. In fact, the delivery fees are about equal to the price of the products. This actually needs to go to corporate, but I'm not wasting my time on the phone with them. Already did that with a store credit.
had a dishwasher delivery at 11:45am, delivery person told me someone would call me about installation in an hour or so. It's 9:00pm and no installer. Dishwasher is dented in the front upon delivery, 2 hours + trying to contact someone. Done with Homedepot.
