I purchased a washer and dryer that was delivered 3 weeks ago and they damaged the washer as well as my hardwood floors. It still is not fixed after reporting it right when it happened. Will not shop here again. It has now been 5+ months and they still have not corrected the damage.
The Home Depot delivers our washer/dryer we ordered online. DOESN'T hook it up because they "don't know how", doesn't reschedule and makes us figure it out ourselves and then refuses a refund for equipment and pieces that we "didn't need" because they claim they left them here when they didn't. Looks like it's Menards or Lowes for us. To bad too, we just bought a house and have tons of projects. But driving an extra 5 minutes to a competitor is no skin off our teeth. Management has a single person working will call. Trucks are lined up, a front page sale item can't be found... I've spent over an hour here on 1 gallon of paint that I called in ahead of time and 14 bags mulch/soil at will call... the most inconvenient experience.
We love Home Depot - friendly employees and great selection. However, the return line has become a checkout lane and it's very confusing and frustrating. This causes two opposing lines at one register?! It would be great if there were clear checkout lanes near both entrances/exits.
