Spent an hour and a half finding what we needed only to then find out the store system is down and not taking debit cards. No signs at the door or registers, no announcement over the speaker. Ridiculous customer service practices.

Worst customer service ever. Purchased patio furniture online to be delivered to my house. Was told by customer service I could go to local store (Claymont) to return and get correct item. That didn't happen. My only option was to get a refund, that could take 3-5 days to post to my account, and repurchase the furniture. Sorry, I dont have the money to have double charges on my account until the refund is credited. Huge headache and inconvience trying to fix a mistake made by Home Depot. Horrible new policy for veterans. I was told it only applies to disabled veterans and my state issued veterans ID card wasn't good enough. Ridiculous that they pick and choose which veterans get their discount. Just lost the rest of my business!
