New store is great Home Depot recently opened in Kyle and the new store is great. This location is very convienient because before you had to go into Austin to find a Home Depot. The new store is well organized and the staff is very friendly, so if you need supplies for your latest do-it -yourself job this is the place to shop.
Satisfied I use my local Home Depot a lot. I can always find exactly what I am looking for and at a decent price.However, the subcontractors that they hire are not of the best professional quality. When installing my water heater, one of the contractor almost left because he didn't like the the location of the water heater and other kept asking me personal questions and asked if he could have a beer.The employees in the garden shop are very pleasant. Bait and Switch Do not buy granite from this store. The associate sold it to me by telling me that sink cut outs were included and the estimator they sent to my house promptly noted that sink cut outs are $260 a piece. Additionally I was assured that removal of my current counter tops was included and it was actually $797.00. Instead of fixing this situation the manager was arrogant and extremely condescending in his approach.Shop at your own risk....
Consistently poor customer service. This is one of the most horribly managed businesses I've ever dealt with. Over the past few years, the customer service has dropped to the point where I cannot wait for the new Lowe's to open. Most of the employees are kids with absolutely no desire to help customers in a courteous manner. They are usually entrenched in their own conversations about how drunk they got last night, etc, and don't even try to hide their annoyance in the fact that you need their help to check out. Fireplace Screen they have really good prices on fireplace screens that are well made. When I asked for help selecting a grate, the sales associate was very helpful. I am pleased with the quality they offered. PROS: pleasant shopping experience and great price CONS: none

Home Depot Rental Department in Kyle Tx Beware!!!! I rented some equipment from Home Depot in Kyle and had the worst experience in my life. First off they will rent you the crappiest equipment and unsafest!!! Then when it breaks down on you they take forever to repair it and don't credit you down time!!! I got a huge kick out of these reviews and I am SURE all the reviews mentioning horrible customer service and know nothing do even less employees are all absolutely true.
