The store manager sat out in front of the store the entire hour before the store opened on Black Friday and talked and personally greeted the entire crowd. He served coffee and rolls and talked about everyday stuff and how he could make everyone's visit special and productive. I was completely dazzled and impressed with commitment to the waiting crowd and the pride he had in his company and how respectful he was of all his employees. WOW!

I worked there for 4 years and was fired because I made a report to the store manager Jeff Edwards about supervisor in hardware Billy cussing me out and yelling in front of customers.Jeff and billy are buddy buddy so I was told I was lying and drop it.I called corporate office and they pulled video and showed I was telling the truth.I was then set up and fired.The customer service is so poor you are better off shopping elsewhere. Went to Lowes in Houston and it was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ they gave me 5% off for having a business account. When I asked for the same at the HomeDepot in Galveston : They pretty much said they don't do that and I got the feeling they implied Go back to Lowes : Which I will for now on

Today I needed paint. Donald in the paint department was not only very helpful, but he was genuinely friendly as well. Somewhere along the way, probably when I pulled my phone from my pocket, I dropped two twenty dollar bills. Donald waited until no one was around and asked me if I had dropped the 40 dollars. I would have never known until I went to check out, that my money was missing. It's so refreshing to know there are still good, honest people in this world!

Was unable to get anyone to the appliance department, I ended up ordering six major appliances over the phone while I was in the store. Then I was charged install fees on appliances that I did not ask for. They just added it on. No more Home Depot, Lowes from now on.

Nothing like asking someone for help and they tell me "it's not there department" and walking away. This store has gone down hill in the past year.
