If I could leave less I would. I asked two employees who were chit chatting to help me in the carpet department. One had just gotten there and didn't know and the other just didn't know. They did state they would find someone. After 10 minutes of waiting I went to the service desk, stated what happened and asked for help but I was told that there wasn't anybody in the store who could help me but they could try to find somebody. Sunday afternoon, one register open. Forced to use self check out. It's hard enough to find an orange vest to help while shopping, now they want you to check yourself out too. Like McDonald's, Home Depot has actually gotten their customers to expect below average service and not even question it.

Home depot is hit or miss sometimes they got what you want but most of the time they don't have what you need. I wish they had a greater selection in hard woods other than just maple and poplar. But that's just me.
