My friend visited yesterday and requested the cashier correctly wear her mask, as required by law. The cashier yelled and banged her fists in an abusive manner on the plexiglas. She said Covid was just a cold and used the F word several times. When speaking to the manager, the manager blew off my friend's concerns and stated , " She would talk to her." Home Depot is not a reliable place to order appliances from. Ordered washer and dry two weeks ago, received a delivery date for the 29th of august due to the item being back ordered. Then received notice two days before that my delivery date is now the 18th of September. Call to ask why and they told me it was on back order still. Then they explained to me that the first date was only set to confirm the order. I was in THD on Friday 6/12. NOT ONE employee was wearing a mask. There was no hand sanitizer anywhere. There wasn’t even a way to wipe off the handle of your cart. I’ll be shopping at Menards from now on.
No masks on employees. Customers allowed in wo masks. HD is not doing the bare minimum to keep us save. I refuse to go to a business that refuses to keep me safe. HD will not have me as a customer until they promise to support the CDC recommendations.
Won’t be ordering carpet from Home Depot again. Not only was their contractor late by 6 hours, they damaged my wall while installing, and I’ve been trying to get them to take responsibility for it for almost a week. Home Depot won’t return my calls, manager at Madison East won’t return my calls, crew2 has said they have talked to me personally when they haven’t. I won’t be recommending Home Depot for ANY service.
