I am very disappointed that Home Depot would not honor the 10% discount that they have always given my VETERAN husband in the past. He actually took his discharge papers to the DMV in Texas and had the Veteran status added to his drivers license as recommended about a year ago by Home Depot management. Apparently this is no longer sufficient identification to show for the 10% discount. He was told today that he needs to show a VA card. Turns out the nice old lady at the check out is NOT nice... got yelled at by her. Not cool, Home Depot.
Customer service dept was very rude!! They had no one there to re-key the new door handle that we had bought😡 So they lost $160 worth of business!
Nick in the paint dept is a rock star. I have never met a more knowledgeable Home Depot employee. He helped us find a technique for re-doing a dining room set that matched both our comfortable and ability levels, and then guided us to the products that we needed. He stayed with us through the whole selection process, paint, stain, and supplies. Thanks for hiring awesome people!
I highly recommend using the online and then picking up your order in store. I lucked out and there wasn't even a wait at Customer Service--and the clerks were very friendly, professional and polite!
The staff are always extremely helpful and the prices are low. They offered us some good advice on our garden project although they dont carry a very big range of herbs. I wanted rosemary and basil but they couldn't help me. I ended up having to go elsewhere to purchase these plants.
Went today to search for help regarding piping for my house and could not find a soul to help me but 2 non Home Depot guys asked me if I needed help and showed me everything I needed!! They are the true heroes not Home Depot
I will never shop at the Home Depot ever. I received empty promises with never getting call backs from the store. They seem pissed off if you try and ask them a question while in store. It took 3 weeks to order a special order tile that I called probably 10 times to keep reminding them. Finally ordered it, for them to say Someone ordered all the remaining tile a few days before my order. Load of bs. If they would of ordered it 3 weeks ago I might have received the tile I needed.
