Home Depot did a GREAT JOB with organization during Hurricane Laura & communicated well with customers while waiting .
I live in North Louisiana. We were recently affected by Hurricane Laura. Our power has been out 3 days. There are no generators or supplies to be found locally and once a shipment comes in they are sold before we can get in line. My husband drove 400 miles round trip to Brookhaven Home Depot and purchased a generator. Once back home we discovered the generator was leaking gas from the carburetor. I went into store today and purchased an in stock whirlpool washer for a total $684; informed store I would pick up washer tomorrow; received a text 2 hours later that the item was no longer “in stock”; called 888# because Pecanland Mall store would not answer phone; spent two hours on phone to cancel order; terrible service; recommendation “go elsewhere to purchase items”.
Placed my order for my garage door online and after a month of being passed back and forth we finally found that they paused our order and then forgot to update it so it just sat for a month no progress. now waiting another month...... two companies involved just keep blaming each other and neither seems to care

Best customer service in MONROE. Forget that place across the interstate. The grey haired gentlemen in the paint department is the nicest guy ever !!
Execute beyond the sale - I purchased a washer, dryer and microwave which "qualified" me for free delivery and setup. It took two trips from the delivery agent, for me to get my appliances offloaded onto my trailer so I could bring them to the house myself. The setup was non-existent, not even the hoses and power cord listed on my shipping ticket. Nobody at Home Depot or the delivery agent takes ownership for their shortcomings.
