Not impressed with Home Depot anymore. There are a lot of alternatives, too. Home Depot is behind the times. Despite the risks of Climate Change, HD still focuses on gas mowers and other gas tools. There needs to be more emphasis on efficiency in home building. All the workers say hi constantly, which might be nice as a concept but if I am focusing on figuring something out and 3 different HD employees interrupt me - when I was not making any eye contact - it becomes more an interruption than a help. Just not happy there.
I shop at Lowes a lot because that's the first one by location. When they didn't have sod, I drove to your store. I'm glad I did, it's a really good experience for me. It made my day. I was not sure where to find it, so I entered garden center where a guy ( Mikey) was watering the plants and when I asked him, he stopped what he was doing and came with me all the way and showed me where to find. We bought a washer and dryer in-store here. The Sales Associate, Bruce, was already a complete a**hole to my father whose first language is not English and therefore asked a lot of questions, which I'd expect any customer service representative to be patient with but no, Bruce was very sarcastic with my father twice and I wanted to slap him a few times already.
